Accumulation and Spatial Distribution of Poly(A)

Polyadenylated (poly(A)+) RNA accumulates in nurse cells and transfers to the oocyte during early development. This RNA is then distributed throughout the embryo, concentrating at the periphery by the blastoderm stage.
