Summary

For polyembryonic Satsuma mandarin, sowing seeds directly in soil is a more efficient and practical method for obtaining hybrids compared to in vitro embryo rescue. This in-soil approach yields a higher ratio of hybrids, challenging previous assumptions about zygotic embryo growth.
