Abstract:
Expected for many months, even years, the reform of the nursing profession is on its way. However, it will be necessary to determine which gradation of the evolution of competences will be arbitrated in order to guarantee the conceptual acceptance of the approach by all the actors and to answer the modernized stakes of the nurse's role. The subject of a renewed elaboration of the decree of acts dating from 2004 remains at the heart of the debates. But on what legal basis will it be necessary from now on to recognize and develop the disciplinary field of nursing sciences? A decree on competencies and a definition of the profession by mission are the first avenues suggested. The possibility of a national license, replacing the degree, should also be discussed during the work on training, with a view to establishing the academic branch of the discipline.
