Impulsivity, specifically urgency, is linked to drinking for negative affect and cravings in adults with co-occurring alcohol use disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder (AUD-PTSD). Anxiety sensitivity and distress tolerance were not associated with drinking reasons in this group.
