Using LAP PROTECTOR™ to prevent subcutaneous emphysema after robotic gastrectomy.

Summary
Subcutaneous emphysema (SE) after robotic gastrectomy (RG) can be serious. Using the LAP PROTECTOR™ (LP) device at trocar sites significantly reduced SE incidence in a study of 194 patients.
