Biliary Amino Acids and Telocytes in Gallstone Disease

Altered bile amino acids and fewer gallbladder telocytes may contribute to cholesterol gallstone formation. This study investigated these factors in patients with and without gallstones.

- These findings highlight a possible role for specific amino acids and cellular changes in gallstone pathogenesis.
