Summary

A severe powdery mildew outbreak caused by Erysiphe elevata was identified on Chipper eucalypt (Eucalyptus urophylla × E. camaldulensis) clone LH1 in China. This is the first report of this pathogen on Eucalyptus species in the region, impacting over 90% of leaves and causing abnormal growth.
