Hepatic cysts (HCs) can rupture, causing life-threatening complications. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is superior to ultrasound (US) and computed tomography (CT) for detecting intra-cystic hemorrhage, guiding timely intervention to prevent rupture and death.
