Ranitidine and leukocytosis

Ranitidine has been used extensively in a variety of gastrointestinal illnesses. To date only scattered reports of hematological side effects have appeared in the literature. We present a case report of leukocytosis and eosinophilia occurring in a patient receiving ranitidine therapy.
