    • Symptoms recurred upon re-challenge with ticarcillin, resolving after discontinuation.

    Findings:

    • The patient experienced gross hematuria and urinary symptoms consistent with hemorrhagic cystitis.
    • Discontinuation of ticarcillin led to rapid symptom resolution in both instances.

    Implications:

    • Healthcare providers should consider ticarcillin-induced hemorrhagic cystitis in patients presenting with hematuria during treatment.
    • Awareness of this adverse drug reaction is crucial for timely diagnosis and management, especially in vulnerable populations like those with cystic fibrosis.
