Red cell distribution width (RDW) shows significant correlations with both Child-Turcotte-Pugh (CTP) and Model for End-Stage Liver Disease (MELD) scores in chronic liver disease (CLD) patients. RDW can serve as a valuable tool for assessing CLD severity.
