Purpose of the Study:
- To investigate serum Mannose-binding lectin (MBL) levels in pediatric patients diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT).

- To determine any correlation between MBL levels and thyroid autoantibodies (anti-TPO, anti-TG) in this cohort.

- A cohort of 39 children with HT and 41 healthy controls were recruited.
- Serum MBL levels were quantified using an MBL Human ELISA kit.

- The study did not find a direct association between MBL levels and thyroid hormone status or autoantibodies in pediatric HT.
- Further investigation is warranted to fully elucidate the potential role of MBL in the pathogenesis of autoimmune thyroid disease.
