A model for analyzing utilization of maternal and child health services

Identifying the factors that deter the use of maternal and child health services is a matter of concern in light of the high rate of infant mortality in this country. The model presented here offers a framework for analyzing available knowledge about consumers' use of such services and strategies that may be effective in encouraging that use.
