  • To introduce and evaluate a new, safe, and quick dissection plane for temporal and mid-face surgery.
  • To assess the efficacy and outcomes of this technique in brow lift, cantopexy, and mid-facelift procedures.

  • A novel dissection plane just superficial to the subgaleal fascia (mid-face sub-superficial musculoaponeurotic system) was utilized.
  • Forty female patients underwent brow lift, cantopexy, and mid-facelift using the described technique.
  • Standardized photographic analysis and measurements of the brow and lateral canthus were performed pre- and post-operatively (6 months).
