Background:

Pacinian corpuscles are mechanoreceptors in the skin, sensing vibration and pressure.
Pacinian corpuscle hyperplasia is a rare condition causing palm or sole indurations, sometimes linked to neurofibromatosis.

Observation:

A 29-year-old patient presented with painful hand nodules.
Imaging studies revealed findings typical of Pacinian corpuscle hyperplasia.

Findings:

High-resolution ultrasound and MRI effectively characterized the lesions.
Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of Pacinian corpuscle hyperplasia.

Implications:

Pacinian corpuscle hyperplasia should be considered in the differential diagnosis of hand nodules.
Advanced imaging techniques aid in the diagnosis of this rare condition.
