[Correctness of the microdosimetric approach in radiobiology]

The application of Bernoulli model to describe the response of irradiated cell populations permits to formulate the task strictly in terms of the probability theory. The important results obtained are useful in analyzing more critically the applicability of the microdosimetric approach. The well known Kellerer-Rossi and Chadwick-Leenhouts theories were shown to have very serious contradictions in their basis.
