Summary

An intramuscular hydatid cyst, a rare parasitic infection caused by Echinococcus granulosis, was diagnosed using ultrasound. Surgical excision led to a good outcome with no recurrence, highlighting the importance of considering this diagnosis in soft tissue masses.
