Shallow Suberitida (Porifera, Demospongiae) from Peru

This study identifies eight species of shallow-water sponges from Peru, including a new species, Suberites inti sp. nov. It expands the known distribution of several species and highlights potential invasive species.

- The number of known shallow-water Suberitida species in Peru increased from 2 to 9.
