Hormone receptor expression in hypospadias

Boys with hypospadias exhibit significantly lower androgen receptor (AR) expression in foreskin tissue compared to age-matched controls. Hormone receptor levels did not correlate with hypospadias severity, but AR expression was more pronounced in stromal cells.
