Hepatic teratoma in an anencephalic fetus

Abstract:
We report a case of hepatic teratoma that occurred in a 21-week-old fetus with anencephaly. This mature teratoma showed tissue derived from all three germ cell layers. To our knowledge, hepatic teratoma associated with anencephaly has not been reported previously.
