Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the relationship between GDM and chemerin.
  • To analyze chemerin levels in maternal and cord blood.
  • To examine chemerin mRNA and protein expression in placental and adipose tissues.

Main Methods:

  • A case-control study involving 110 women with GDM and 110 controls.
  • Measurement of chemerin levels in peripheral and cord blood.
