Outcomes with transplanting kidneys offered through expedited allocation

Expedited kidney allocation (EA) successfully transplanted 84% of offers, with recipients being older and having less dialysis time. These kidneys, often from AKI donors, showed similar graft survival to standard allocation kidneys despite higher initial discard rates.
