Background:

Traumatic open-globe injuries represent a significant cause of vision loss.
These injuries can lead to substantial psychological distress, impacting patients' quality of life.

Purpose of the Study:

To determine the prevalence and severity of probable anxiety and depression in patients with traumatic open-globe injury.
To identify factors associated with anxiety and depression following such injuries.

A cross-sectional study involving 124 patients with traumatic open-globe injury.
Utilized phone interviews and chart reviews, including the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS).
