Morphological changes after open lumbar microdiscectomy at 2-year follow-up

Open lumbar microdiscectomy (OLM) may increase, not decrease, disc height (DH) and foramen size. This study observed morphological changes two years post-surgery, challenging previous assumptions about OLM outcomes.
