Suprahepatic vena caval obstruction. Case history

Membraneous obstruction of the suprahepatic vena cava is an uncommon but treatable problem. Successful management is dependent upon accurate radiologic diagnosis followed by surgical repair. The amount of fibrosis of the obstruction dictates the surgical approach and type of procedure. Close follow-up and judicious use of invasive radiology has led to successful treatment in this unusual case.
