    Background:

    • Chronic bacterial prostatitis is a common condition affecting the male reproductive system.
    • Morphological changes in seminal vesicles and ampulla ducti deferentis are not well-documented in this context.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the morphological appearance of seminal vesicles and ampulla ducti deferentis in patients with chronic bacterial prostatitis.
    • To assess the prevalence of pathological changes in these structures.

    Main Methods:

    • Bilateral seminal vesiculography was performed on 15 patients diagnosed with chronic bacterial prostatitis.
    • Radiological findings were analyzed to identify abnormalities.

    Main Results:

    • Pathological conditions of the seminal vesicles (stenosis, shriveling) were observed in 87.5% of the vesiculograms.
    • Malformations of the ampulla ducti deferentis were present in 29.1% of patients.

    • These findings suggest a potential pathogenetic role in conditions like epididymo-orchitis.
