Decreased 25-Hydroxy Vitamin D Level Is Associated with All-Cause Mortality in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes at High

Vitamin D deficiency is strongly linked to cardiovascular events and mortality in type 2 diabetes patients. Low levels of 25-hydroxy-vitamin D (25(OH)D) were the most significant predictor in this high-risk group.
