Assessing Trustworthiness of Internet Pharmacies with an Internet Browser Extension

Consumers face risks from illegal online pharmacies (IOPs) and substandard medications. This study developed a browser extension to identify verified, not recommended, and not verified pharmacy websites, finding a 3:1 ratio of not recommended to verified results for certain keywords.
