[Spine osteomas]

Data on diagnosis and treatment of rare localization of osteoma in the spine (6 cases) are reported. Scanty literature data and the author's findings were used in the description of clinical and X-ray picture patterns versus different localization and structure of tumor. Recommendations for radical surgery are given. Excerpts from a case history and roentgenograms are provided as illustrations.
