Abstract
Introduction:
The majority of researchers agree that sealants need to be monitored and kept in good condition because even a small amount of sealant loss raises the possibility of developing caries lesions. The first year after application is when sealant loss is reported to be at its highest. This motivated us to monitor silanized patients who received resin-based sealant for a full year.
