Summary

Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) are rare tumors originating from neuroendocrine cells, mostly in the GI tract. General markers like chromogranin A (CgA), neuron-specific enolase (NSE), and 5-hydroxyindolic acetic acid (5-HIAA) aid in NEN diagnosis and management.
