Electromagnetic interference from automobile passive keyless entry in cardiovascular implantable electronic devices

Cardiovascular implantable electronic device (CIED) patients can safely use automobile passive keyless entry (PKE) systems. This study found no electromagnetic interference (EMI) from PKE systems, indicating no risk to CIED function.
