Summary

This study aimed to establish best practices for cementing knee implants based on expert opinion. A group of experienced UK surgeons participated in a three-round survey to reach consensus on cementation techniques. The study focused on four areas: cement preparation, pressurization, application, and curing. Experts agreed on most statements, with full agreement in three domains and 90% agreement in the fourth. One statement about cement handling lacked consensus. The findings provide guidance for surgeons on optimal cementation methods in total knee arthroplasty.
