The EPB41L3 and JAM3 gene methylation assay shows high specificity for detecting cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2 or worse (CIN2+). This DNA methylation test is a promising tool for cervical cancer screening, especially in hrHPV-positive individuals.
