Robotic-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (RATS) offers advantages over traditional minimally invasive surgery for lung cancer, including better outcomes and surgeon ergonomics. Future thoracic surgeons will benefit from RATS for complex procedures and precise small nodule removal.
