Can Brain Activities of Guided Metaphorical Restructuring Predict Therapeutic Changes?

Metaphorical restructuring improved anxiety symptoms and self-efficacy more than literal processing. Brain activity in the hippocampus and inferior frontal gyrus (IFG) predicted these positive changes, suggesting they are neural markers for therapeutic success.
