CBX4 promotes antitumor immunity by suppressing Pdcd1 expression in T cells

CBX4 protein deficiency impairs T-cell antitumor immunity by increasing PD-1 expression and hindering cytokine production. This epigenetic regulation of programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) impacts T-cell function and tumor growth.
