- To apply multi-criteria decision-making methods for selecting an EPR framework.

- Utilized Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Fuzzy AHP (FAHP) techniques.
- Developed a four-level hierarchy model with 4 criteria, 10 sub-criteria, and 3 Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) alternatives.
- Assessed the importance of legal/administrative, environmental, socio-economic, and technical criteria.
Main Results:
- Legal and administrative criteria (0.47) were deemed most important, followed by environmental (0.22).
- Socio-economic (0.17) and technical (0.13) criteria were less critical.
- The 'PRO with profit' structure emerged as the most preferable alternative.
Conclusions:
- A 'PRO with profit' model is recommended for Jordan's EPR system.
- Enhancing the legal and administrative framework is crucial for successful EPR adoption.
- This study is the first to use AHP and FAHP for EPR system selection in Jordan.
