The relationship between retinal neurodegenerative changes and overactive bladder syndrome in multiple sclerosis

Overactive bladder (OAB) in multiple sclerosis (MS) patients is linked to greater neuroaxonal damage. Specifically, OAB correlates with reduced retinal nerve fiber layer (pRNFL) and macular ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer (mGCIPL) thickness, especially in the inferior quadrant.
