This study identifies novel Intercellular Adhesion Molecule 1 (ICAM-1) signaling pathways involved in SARS-CoV-2 cell-to-cell transmission and COVID-19 severity. Discovering these ICAM-1 pathways enhances understanding of COVID-19 mechanisms.
