Background:

An isthmocele is a myometrial defect at the site of a Cesarean scar, often causing abnormal uterine bleeding and secondary infertility.
Current surgical approaches include resectoscopic or laparoscopic resection, depending on residual myometrial thickness, each with limitations.

Purpose of the Study:

To demonstrate the advantages of a combined surgical technique for isthmocele correction.
To showcase a novel approach for managing larger isthmoceles.
To highlight the benefits of integrating resectoscopic and laparoscopic methods.

Main Methods:

A stepwise demonstration of the combined resectoscopic and laparoscopic technique using narrated video footage.
The procedure aims to overcome limitations of individual surgical approaches.

Main Results:

One month post-surgery, the patient was asymptomatic with resolution of abnormal uterine bleeding.
Ultrasound confirmed complete correction of the isthmocele.
