Abstract:
A study of 72 patients with depressive neurosis of old age has demonstrated that when neurosis develops in involutional or senile age it is characterized by a peculiar pattern of the psychopathology course and outcomes. To a considerable degree this peculiarity corresponds to the orientation and depth of changes of age-related social, psychological and biological nature.
