Summary

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensors show higher sensitivity for detecting water leaks in plastic pipes compared to lead zirconate titanate (PZT) sensors. These findings suggest PVDF and SAW sensors are promising, cost-effective alternatives for pipeline leak detection systems.
