Abnormal functional connectivity in radiologically isolated syndrome: A resting-state fMRI study

Radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS) patients exhibit altered brain connectivity and cognitive deficits. These findings suggest RIS is a non-motor form of multiple sclerosis, not merely an incidental finding.
