Monoterpene indole alkaloids from Gelsemium elegans.

Two novel monoterpene indole alkaloids, Eleganine A and Eleganine B, were isolated from Gelsemium elegans. These compounds, along with eleven known ones, showed no significant anti-inflammatory or anti-proliferative activity in assays.
