Eyelid dermatitis: the rôle of atopy and contact allergy

Patients with eyelid dermatitis were studied with patch tests and a clinical point method for the diagnosis of atopic skin disease. In 38 patients, contact allergy was found in 11. The dermatitis was an expression of atopic dermatitis in 15 patients.
