BF.7: a new Omicron subvariant characterized by rapid transmission

The Omicron BF.7 sublineage shows higher transmission than previous SARS-CoV-2 variants. COVID-19 vaccination, especially with three doses, significantly reduces severe symptoms and abnormal inflammatory markers associated with BF.7 infection.
