Acyl-AcpB, a FabT corepressor in Streptococcus pyogenes

Acyl-AcpB is the main corepressor for the fatty acid synthesis (FASII) pathway repressor FabT in Streptococcus pyogenes. Deleting AcpB affects bacterial membrane composition and adhesion, showing the importance of FASII control.
