  • Established a Task Group (TG) for Sustainable DwC-MIxS Interoperability with experts from TDWG and GSC.
  • Utilized Simple Standard for Sharing Ontology Mappings (SSSOM) to map DwC keys to MIxS keys.
  • Developed the MIxS-DwC extension for incorporating MIxS terms into DwC metadata.

Main Results:

  • Created a comprehensive mapping between DwC and MIxS standards.
  • Enabled the incorporation of MIxS core terms into DwC-compliant metadata.
