Abdominal wound closure--the Jenkins's technique: a registrar's experience

Abstract:
Jenkins's technique has been used to close 238 abdominal wounds. No dehiscence occurred in thie series. It is suggested that this method, which gives strict guidelines on wound closure, is ideal for teaching good technique for wound closure.
